MARCH 8, 2024 | Volume I, Issue 9

Forward Friday is written for esteemed leaders in the C-Suite and is all about reflecting over the past week and leaping forward into the nextโ€”all the while honoring our present state. You can expect three lessons I learned over the past week, two amazing people to follow, and an action step for your consideration.

3...2...1...Let's Go!

3 Lessons Learned This Week

  1. Stay Consistent: Despite the myriad distractions that arise daily, maintaining focus on the target is crucial. Recognizing the larger team during a call provided reassurance, allowing for delegated tasks with trust in their accomplishment.

  2. Revitalize Old Strategies: Adapting old strategies, such as hosting speaker showcases during the pandemic, can yield remarkable results. By providing solutions for speaker bureaus, clients, and oneself, success can be achieved, as evidenced by increased engagement and sales.

  3. Celebrate Mentors: Acknowledging and celebrating the contributions of mentors, such as Judith Heumann, fosters gratitude and recognition for their invaluable guidance and impact on personal and professional growth.

What are some ways you stay consistent, revitalize old strategies, and/or celebrate mentors?

Two People to Follow This Week

Betsy Allen Manning is a powerhouse in the Dallas area. She specializes in transforming companies into Destination Workplacesโ„ข and overcoming imposter syndrome. Her expertise in business and life success makes her a valuable resource for executives seeking growth.

As a futurist, author, and Hall of Fame Speaker, Crystal Washington equips organizations with the knowledge to become "future-proof." Her insights into embracing the future with clarity and confidence are invaluable for executives navigating evolving business landscapes.

One Action Step to Focus On: Organize Private Speaker Showcase Events

Based on the success of previous speaker showcases, setting up private events for meeting professionals across the USA can drive engagement and sales. Leveraging this strategy can enhance networking opportunities and showcase expertise while providing valuable solutions for attendees.
